Wake of the Ravager Dark Sun Online: It starts with an overview of his tragic childhood, on to his even rougher life growing up trying to hide who he is. Too much stuff was squeezed in, there were too many one-dimensional characters that I didn’t care about, and it was too much effort to figure out what was going on at times, especially at the climax of the book.
The author was trying to show all of the trials that he had to go through to become this badass wizard of all wizards and I didn’t get it.
I don’t really remember the sequence of events after this. Archmage Legend of Drizzt: I was disheartened because it took such an effort to get through this book.

Just because somebody lives in a nice apartment with all of the Mod-cons does not necessarily mean that they are civilised, and just because they live in a mud hut beside a river in a jungle and survive off the produce of the land does not necessarily mean they are barbaric. The story development is also not immaculate, but not bad to kick you off the story, though, in some cases, deus ex machina is overused and somewhat feels too strong and seems to me to unbalance the storyline; yet I’ll give that -again- to the fact that this is an early work.
Once again, no spoilers at all. At this point, of course, it is much to late to protest that it is a Bad Book, that it is Written Very Poorly, that I find it Profoundly Stupid – because I was caught reading it rather than caught pitching it disgustedly against the wall.
They speak of a world shadowed with rumors of war. I’ve always liked Elminster even dlminster he is the ultimate Gary-Stu.
Still, it’s a decent book. The main problem with this audiobook is that the overall quality of the audio performance is very bad.
