I do mostly Busking so with everyone looking down at all angles this particular shuffle can be hard. The tells are all addressed and suuffle in a logical manner, and the technique allows for just enough cover to be visually deceptive for a move with a massive visual discrepancy.

Magic History ConferenceT. As such, the DVD will for me at least reinforce the text descriptions in the booklet. What do you all consider the other must haves re the Zarrow Shuffle itself? If you want a deceitful table riffle shuffle and don’t have one, you should get this. I’ve also had the great fortune to be able to talk with Gary directly about this shuffle and remember vividly when I bought the manuscript from him at a Houston TAOM 10 years ago.

I am so glad that you liked the DVD. Based on the last update I’m aware of, its release should be imminent. The instruction on the video is some of the clearest and most detailed I’ve seen anywhere, making it an invaluable companion to Gary’s fantastic booklet. Most cardmen that I have seen using the Zarrow Shuffle exposed the condition of the deck on the square up and yet most, if not all, seemed to think a perfect illusion was being created.
Just received my copy yesterday and began absorbing it today.

The Zarrow shuffle has a complicated history; a brief description first appeared in The New Phoenix No. Gary Plants’ reputation is well deserved and I envy those who can buy it! Steve Forte, in the introduction, makes the honest observation about the Zarrow shuffle in that: There are a few names in magic that has been consistently associated with an excellent quality of material, and depth of thinking.
