On the Fence Book Review

He was too good to be true. Just a bit cliched. I liked the characters, the story, the awesome sister-brothers relationship and, of course, those “on the fence” talks.

This book is rich with sparkling dialogue, clever wit and sweet romance. This was an okay story, but the main character annoyed me, and the story dragged. Charlie has been raised by a single father and a few older brothers so it’s not surprising that she’s a tomboy.

On the Fence

Trivia About On the Fence. It was this great and more! Is that a bad thing? I loved all the relationships here: His father verbally abuses his mother and him whenever he is drunk. Charlotte Charlie is a tomboy. I especially had a soft spot for Gage. And it has that confusing vibe that only first loves teenage loves can ever give. I definitely recommend reading this book. And just with that, you’ll know things were going to be quite messy. I wasn’t really enjoying this at first but then it turned quite enjoyable!

Even when she did test his patience. Let me start with the MC. It was such a cute and heartwarming read that I did not expect.

I really liked the book title, as the fence played a key part in Charlie’s journey and her relationship with Braden. I love the easy going between the siblings. When Charlie was 6 years old her mother got into a car accident.

I just love characters like that. I had originally added this book back in February.

And I can definitely say that I have become a huge fan of Kasie West! They felt like best friends to me and that’s it. Braden meets her at the fence at night and they can really open up when they are alone.

Also dating someone you’re not into wasn’t exactly the best decision. Was he saying he would date my teammates if I set him up? The parents’ guide to what’s in this book.

On the Fence was all about the intrnal conflicts. Charlie is the easily relatable character that I understood. The chemistry between Charlie and Braden was so cute!!!

Jen Post author February 20, at 8: The main character Charlie is fwnce tomboy, and she thought she had to act a certain way and chnage who she was to get a boy to like her. Some aggressive, burly thing. I loved her brothers, they were hilarious, fun and I loved how they didn’t treat Charlie as just their little sister.

March 4, at 4: So after my little rant I realise it’s the pressures of a teenager and she can she what she’s doing and doesn’t want it to happen, it was good to see how she developed!

I couldn’t find anything on this book that I particularly really hated so that’s good. She’s got three older brothers and a father as well as a tight friendship with her next door neighbour, Braden. Which intrigued me a lot. She didn’t really know a lot about guys and makeup and its okay.
